Here are our halloween pictures. We have a big Fall Fest at church with rides and games ec. Dans mom and Aunt were here for the week. Brieya was a pumpkin, Harmony a cat and Cade a chicken.

Hello

Fall is in the air, School is well on its way, the girls both like their teachers this year and Rachel is doing very well as a Senior. Cade has hit the terrible twos and i find myself having to be on him all day -or my house will become destroyed. He did decide he liked the Toy Story movies so if I ever need some time to get things done that will keep him quiet for a little.Church is going well ,I love doing I-nets the 4th and 5th graders and Dan is doing great with the worship. He has also taken a part time job working from home as tech support for a friends computer company.

Well I just wanted to jot some down while I had a minute ,

Rachels a Senior

We "adopted" a cat that showed up on our doorstep. It has a great personality and the kids love it. It is a 95% outside cat, so the best kind :) If you ask Cade the cats name he will promptly say "MEOW"

Pumpkin Bars

Recipe of the month

This is a long time favorite. It is spread on a cookie sheet ..so makes alot. They freeze very nicely as well.

Pumpkin Bars

Feeds ALOT Preheat oven to 350 and bake 30 mins or till done.

Beat 4 eggs, 1and 2/3cup sugar, 1 cp oil and 16 oz can of pumpkin

Sift together : 2 cps flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 2tsp cinnamon,1 tsp salt,1 tsp baking soda,

Add slowly to the creamed mixture until well blended. Spread on an ungreased cookie sheet (15x10)

Take out of the oven. When cool frost with: 3 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cp margarine, 1 tsp vanilla and 2 cps sifted confectioners sugar.

Harmony got a hair cut

OK Harmony has been wanting a hair cut so I finally did it - It is a little shorter than I would like but it will grow fast I am sure, besides it will be so much easier in the mornings getting a brush thru it! So here is a pic. ( she loves her hair so I guess that is what matters)

Soccer

The girls started soccer and had their first game today. Harmony's team won and Brieya got a goal on her team. I am glad they are able to do soccer , but talk about adding more to a busy schedule!!

First Day of School

Another school year already, I cant believe it! 1st and 3rd grade and Rachel a senior! AHHHHH! I am getting old!!! So far 3 days in and everyone is liking their schools and teachers , Thank you Jesus!

Aunt Weslea came to visit

Family Party

We had a pool party with all our friends on August 23 at a friends house, The Mills, it was fun the kids swam and jumped on the trampoline, ate cake , hot dogs and icecream bars and just had alot of fun, boy am I glad its over!!

Harmony is 6!

August 22 Harmony turned 6. She picked shrimp scampi for her dinner then changed her mind to order pizza - She picked out cupcakes and icecream ( she is not a cake fan or cupcake but the icecream she loved) And opened her presents. I can't believe going into first grade this year!Where does time go?
